How to Participate

There are several ways to participate in We Run for Tibet 2025

Join in person:

Run alongside Dominik Kelsang for part of the route or join on a bike. You can participate for shorter segments or tackle longer distances. If you plan to cover a longer distance, please inform us in advance for coordination.

Join us for an official marathon

Participate in the marathon or ultramarathon on March 8, organised by the 100 Marathon Club Switzerland. The race will start on Saturday, 8 March at 08.00 and ends in Wil (SG) for the marathon distance and at the Tibet Institute Rikon for the Ultramarathon Run (64km).

Virtual participation

Run or walk from anywhere in the world between March 8 and 10, 2025, to show your support for Tibet. Share your distance, photos with Tibetan flags, and messages of solidarity on Instagram using the hashtag #WeRunForTibet or join our Strava group "We Run for Tibet" to connect with other participants.

Supporter

In addition to joining as an athlete, you can support our project in other ways, such as by volunteering as part of the event crew or by making a financial contribution to help cover the project’s costs.

No matter how you choose to get involved, your contribution will help amplify our message and bring us closer to achieving our goals
